The first Prayer morning of 2010 is this Saturday morning between 10am and 11.30am. It's a great opportunity to seek God's way forward as we enter a new year. Please make an effort to come along, even if only for a short while.

Christmas Day Service

We will be holding a Christmas Day service at Strouden on Friday at 10.30am. Martyn Davies will be leading us in a time of worship, prayer and praise. Please join us if you can.
 
Souper or Super Christmas?

It could be both! Our Christmas offerings will this year be forwarded to Mission Possible in Bulgaria via Eurovangelism. £550 will enable a soup kitchen to feed 50 children for a month.

SPC is looking to provide two soup kitchens or possibly more if we can. For more information see the latest edition of Euronews available on the mission stand in the foyer or speak to David Baverstock.
 
50th Anniversary Booklet

Back in April SPC celebrated its 50th birthday. For the occasion we produced a commemorative booklet look back at the years and also to the future. A safe and spacious area allows the toddlers to move around and participate in the various activities, whilst parents can choose to sit and relax whilst the children make new friends. There is no charge for this group.

A youth club for teenagers aged 11 to 16. We run organised games, including pool and football as well as the occasional outing to popular attractions. If you prefer you can come along and just chill out on the sofas or enjoy a smoothie at the bar!

Christianity Explored

Each session is simple and relaxed, starting with a meal, and continues with a short Bible study followed by a DVD. The study is based on the Gospel of Mark, and as the story is opened up, Jesus walks off the pages of scripture and into peoples lives.
Ladies Fellowship

2:00pm

Each Tuesday at 3pm there is tea and coffee served for Ladies. This open to anyone in the community and there is a short talk.
