Next Wednesday, 10th June, Solomon Nathaniel will be holding one of his famous curry evenings at SPC. Starting at 7.30pm, the meal will be accompanied with the encouraging news from his mission work in India.

I*EAT BAND NIGHT

I*EAT, the new Eating Disorders lifeline set up by recovered sufferer, Jess Griffiths, is holding a fundraising band night.

BOSH, Tom Whitman, The Plymouths and Oposium will be playing at Strouden Park Chapel on Saturday 23rd May, doors open at 6pm. Tickets are available from Keith Jones, Lifehouse or Dave Griffiths for only £5.

Foodbank Day

This Sunday is our designated Foodbank Day.

If feel that you can help by bringing a long a little (or a lot) of food towards the cause it would be most appreciated.

Current items of need (which must be within the best before date) include sugar, long-life fruit juice, UHT or powdered milk, breakfast cereal, baked beans, tinned items - tomatoes, soup, veg, meat & fish, rice pudding and sponge pudding. Biscuits, tea bags, pasta, and childres treats are also desired.

A Day of Prayer & Fasting

A day of prayer and fasting will take place on Saturday 9th May. We will meet in the CoffeePot between 10am and 12pm for a time of prayer, and then again between 3pm and 5pm, with communion concluding at approx 4.45pm.

"Prayer is the power house of the Church as we move forward in Christ Jesus"

SPC Anniversary Book

To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Strouden Park Chapel a special book has been created, looking back over the years at the Church.

Copies will be available for purchase over this coming weekend priced at just £4 each.

A safe and spacious area allows the toddlers to move around and participate in the various activities, whilst parents can choose to sit and relax whilst the children make new friends. There is no charge for this group.

A youth club for teenagers aged 11 to 16. We run organised games, including pool and football as well as the occasional outing to popular attractions. If you prefer you can come along and just chill out on the sofas or enjoy a smoothie at the bar!

Christianity Explored

Each session is simple and relaxed, starting with a meal, and continues with a short Bible study followed by a DVD. The study is based on the Gospel of Mark, and as the story is opened up, Jesus walks off the pages of scripture and into peoples lives.
Ladies Fellowship

Each Tuesday at 3pm there is tea and coffee served for Ladies. This open to anyone in the community and there is a short talk.
