As I'm sure you can see the Strouden Park Chapel website is now back online after some technical issues! These have now been resolved and we should be back to normal.

As the summer holidays draw to a close and routines begin to resemble something of normality we look forward to an exciting weekend at SPC. This Sunday sees two special events occurring during our morning service at 10.30am.

Firstly we induct Dean Burgis as Assistant Pastor at Strouden, before Chris is baptised and brought into membership at the church. Stephen Gillam will be speaking to us and will also no doubt update us as to how the summer camps have gone in recent weeks.

Please join us as we celebrate this occasion!

There will be a day of prayer and fasting on Saturday 11th September 2010. We will be meeting at SPC between 9.30am and 12pm and then again between 6pm and 8pm, finishing with communion. Please come along if you are able to, even for just a short while.

Don't forget that the second Christianity Explored course to be held at Strouden Park Chapel will begin on Monday 13th September at 7.00. It will take a similar format as the previous course with a meal followed by short video and group discussion.

Last Sunday Strouden Park Chapel had a day of family festivities with the End of Term Celebtration Service followed by a BBQ lunch, bathed in wonderful weather on the lawn! The night before the SPC had 'slept rough' using only cardboard for shelter in the church hall, raising money for children in Mexico. See pictures below.
